At Woodlands Preschool, we value every child's voice, interests, experiences and cultural background. We believe that children learn best when they feel heard, respected and inspired by the world around them.
Nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Farthing Downs, our unique outdoor environment provides endless opportunities for children to learn, grow and thrive through play. With vast open spaces and an abundance of natural resources at their fingertips, children are encouraged to explore, investigate, create and develop a deep connection with nature.
Our environment sparks curiosity and imagination, allowing children to take risks, solve problems and build confidence through first-hand experiences. Whether climbing, den building, discovering wildlife or exploring the changing seasons, every day brings new opportunities for learning.
We work closely with families to build on children's interests, experiences and cultural capital, creating meaningful learning opportunities that support each child's individual development and sense of belonging.
Play Centred
At Woodlands Preschool, we believe that play is at the heart of childhood and the foundation for all learning. Through play, children develop confidence, independence and self-esteem in a way that is meaningful and enjoyable to them.
